Perfect Sauce for the Holidays - Cucina Antica Pumpkin Sauce [Review And Giveaway]

Recently I had the chance to try Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce made by Cucina Antica and I couldn't wait to share my experience with you guys.

But first a little about the company, Cucina Antica! They've been in business for over 15 years and their cooking and pasta sauces contain only the freshest ingredients. I love what they believe in too - "Cucina Antica believs that food brings family and friends together, to share good conversation and good times over a delicious meal." I think that's the best type of belief system to have! Chef Neil Fusco, owner of Cucina Antica Foods, grew up helping his mother prepare food using ingredients from the family farm. Born in Italy, he is famous for making "light, fresh, homemade pasta sauces."

Now to the review! I had the chance to try the Tuscany Pumpkin Pasta Sauce, and I was honestly nervous - but nicely surprised - about my experience with the sauce. It is made with a combination of pumpkin as well as San Marzano tomatoes and added spices to make this a tasty, full sauce. My first round with trying was to make this as a pumkin soup! It's the best time of year for this type of treat to since the leaves are turning fall colors.

Making the soup is extremely easy, you simply mix in a bit of cream with the soup. It was made on a rainy fall day and tasted JUST like fall, actually. I was nervous I would be overwhelmed by the pumpkin, but it didn't overwhelm at all. It rounded out the flavor of the tomatoes and was a unique combination. I dashed a little hot sauce in my soup and I really enjoyed this for lunch. Search through the variety packs they offer here and mix and match sauces following this link - http://cucina-antica.com/collections/mix-and-match. Also, if you don't want to buy online, find the store nearest you. I highly recommend buying from Cucina Antica because they have excellent prices and quality ingredients - plus their products taste great!

I highly recommend purchasing the pumpkin sauce in preparation for Thanksgiving. This would go wonderful even as a dipping sauce for breads. My next round of trying this will be with squash ravioli - I can't wait!

Overall, this is an excellent, unique sauce to try. I also can't wait to try some of their other sauces and olive oils and will be sure to look for them in the store. The price is right too because a 3-pack goes for only $24.00 plus shipping. Great price!

Best of all, one of my lucky readers will get to try this amazing pumpkin sauce!
