Gift Idea: Coco Luxe Organic - Coconut Oil On the Go! [My Review]

I'm a huge fan of coconut oil.  I use it every morning and night on my face and it's the best thing for my skin. I've seen so much improvement in dryness and my skin just GLOWS now. Am I gushing? I think I'm gushing.

The thing is though I usually buy a huge container of coconut oil and then pour some into a smaller plastic container so I can distribute it pretty easily throughout the next couple of months or so.

But then it ends up looking something like this:

Gross, huh?

Well, turns out there is a brand new AMAZING thing that I discovered and had the the chance to try out. It puts my gross container to shame!

It's called Coco Luxe Organic and they sell Coconut Oil in a tube so you can take it with you on the go. I don't know about you but it's nice to have this refresher with me so my skin doesn't dry out and I don't have to pull out a nasty looking container that I had before.

Here's what to expect out of the Coco Luxe Organic Coconut Oil:

(this is based on information off their website)

100% Organic Unrefined and Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
Cold, Expeller Pressed
No Chemicals Used
Non GMO
Not Refined, Bleached, or Deodorized.

Read more of what you can expect out of their coconut oil.

Best of all, it's super convenient. I had the chance to try it out and it had the same quality of coconut oil as the other stuff I buy - which I'm grateful for - and it was so nice to have this in a tube rather than digging my fingers around in the container.

Probably the only major downside I noticed was that if it was particularly cold overnight (and I leave the tube in the bathroom) the coconut oil would be near to impossible to get out of the tube.  For this I would recommend running it under hot water or something. When I carried it in my purse and I was in a warm office or room or something than I didn't have any problem using it at all.

Overall, I think this is a product worth having - it's a very smart product to have to. For me, I could never actually eat or cook with coconut oil (I can't imagine eating this in any fashion) but I will always use it on my skin. It's better than anything I've used and better than any other moisturizer.

If you want to purchase it, it costs about $11.99 plus shipping. That's pretty reasonable, because coconut oil stretches pretty far for me. This one tube will last me several weeks - maybe even a couple of months.

If you want to purchase Coconut Oil on the go, follow this link and make your purchase!

Also, make sure you follow them on FacebookTwitter, Instagram  Pinterest and Google Plus. And if you have NO clue on what to use coconut oil for, check out this very interesting post (did you know you can shave your legs with the stuff???)

Best of all, I get to giveaway a tube to one of my lucky readers! Simply enter via Rafflecopter below. Giveaway ends on 3/23.

Vitamin C Serum - Add This To Your Morning Beauty Routine [Review and Giveaway]

What is your morning (or evening) beauty routine? For me, I'm usually so tired at night that if I remember to wash my face, it's an enormous deal. But in the morning, I pay so much more attention to my skin. I always put on coconut oil of some kind, but lately, I've been adding a new addition to my routine - Vitamin C Serum.

I've heard about the benefits of using a Vitamin C Serum for a while now and jumped at the chance to try it out and see the kind of impact this had on my skin.

I have been using the Amara Organics Vitamins C Serum 20% (with Vitamin E and Hydraulic Acid) Serum for a couple of weeks now. One thing that stood out to me was how gentle this was on my skin. It wasn't harsh at all. I use it daily each morning and follow it up with  a moisturizer.

Vitamin C Serum is supposed to reduce signs of aging. I'm only 28 so I'm not sure that I have a lot of evidence of aging to worry about just yet. This is also supposed to brighten skin, repair damage…

5 Recipes Made with Gluten-Free Bagels

When I think of bagels, I don't usually think of things I can make with them outside of my usual go to stuff, like cheese melts, avocado toast and toasted bagel and peanut butter.
But there are some recipes that take bagels to the next level and I came across some created by "The Greater Knead" bagel company and I absolutely had to share these with you. And I had the chance to try out some of their bagels, but more on that later. First, the tasty bagel goodness.
The Bagel Crumble.

To make this, you take their chocolate bagel (oh yes, I said chocolate), a little oil, and cinnamon and some honey. And from there you chop it up and bake it and cover it with tastiness and put it over ice cream. Just check out this recipe and you'll see why you want it.

What To Do When You Stuck in a Snack Rut [Giveaway Inside!]

Sometimes you can easily get in a rut with food. I know I get that way. The same products are in the store, you have the same lunch ideas, you buy the same snacks, the same everything. I know that it actually can be hard to step outside my comfort zone and try something new.

So that's when subscription boxes can help. It's an excellent way of finding new things to try, getting some extra snacks, and opening up your horizon to new foods. Whether you are celiac or gluten-intolerant or simply eat gluten-free by choice, it's time to broaden those horizons!

I recently had the chance to try out the "American Gluten-Free" food box. Here's the photo of what I received -
