You Should Get a Boar Bristle Brush

Do you use a Boar Bristle Brush? I have for a while now but if you haven't heard of this kind of brush, it's basically a brush made of 100% natural boar bristles and according to a variety of resources (such as this one http://www.wisegeek.org/what-is-a-boar-bristle-brush.htm) it's supposed to help distribute the hair's natural oils and also help improve shine while conditioning the hair and adding body.

I was first introduced to Boar Bristle Brush because my mom had one and I remember as a teen not really liking the brush because it could never get tangles out of my hair. But these days my perspective has completely changed and I really appreciate what Boar Bristle Brushes can do for me.

But recently I had the chance to try out a Pocket Sized Boar Bristle Brush made by Angelo David Salon and I can't wait to tell you about it! When I got it, I noticed how small of a brush it was, but that's okay because it makes it that much easier to keep with me during the day. I appreciated the size a lot.

I noticed in the brush it did have pin bristles, which is great to take out tangles. I have longer hair so although this brush was said to be great for short hair, I liked it enough for mine. What I love about this brush and other boar bristle brushes is that it smoothes out hair and is great for thin hair (which I have!). It doesn't rip out the hair like other brushes - or combs - usually do for me. It's great for keeping hair conditioned throughout the day.

This costs about $35.00 and you can purchase it by following this link. You may think this is a bit expensive but the price is common for boar bristle brushes. Plus you may end up paying more for these brushes but the positive impact that they have on hair is worth it. Also these brushes last a LONG time. Angelo David also offers up a great variety of hair care items and you should check out what they have to offer for your hair care needs. Brushes are only the beginning! You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram

I received the above items in exchange for my honest review.
