Nana Joes Granola - Upgrade Your Breakfast! [Review and Giveaway]

I had the chance to try out some granola by Nana Joes. It was started by Michelle Pusateri who wanted to create something nourishing that she could eat in between surfing. I think that makes her cool in my book! She taste tested granola and voila! Here we have Nana Joes! Read more about the company here.

I got the chance to try out a few different granola types.

The Trieftca Blend

This has a variety of things in it - rolled oats, maple syrup, pieces of cocoa nibs, cranberries and more! Make sure you click on purchase now above to read the rest of the ingredients. It's gluten-free, and nut free too.

I thought this granola was perfect with yogurt. It wasn't too chunky and it blended nicely in my yogurt - wasn't totally awkward to eat with a spoon. I could really tell this was a healthier granola too - not a whole lot of junk in it, and that is greatly appreciated. It's a looser granola than what I usually see - not sure how else to describe it.

Sunset Blend

I enjoyed this one, but maybe not as much as I have others! It still tasted good, but I was hoping for a bit of a stronger flavor in the granola - or maybe I missed the added chocolate. Still good though and VERY healthy, you can tell. Also more of a looser granola than chunky.

Grain Free, Paleo Friendly, Urban Radish Blend

Okay this one surprised me by far and was DEFINITELY my favorite. It had little coconut chunks with the occasional nuts and dried fruit. This surprised me because I wasn't sure what the taste would be like. But I really really really enjoyed it - this is something I would buy again. It made for a great snack and something I could take with me separate from yogurt which I loved. It had so much coconut goodness! By far, I can't say enough, this one is for sure worth trying out for yourself. It's really unique too - not something I've seen before.

Tony's Trail Mix

This was definitely good - very flavorful. I loved the variety of foods you get in it. I think this makes for a great snack too. Loved the big chocolate pieces (I'm such a sucker for chocolate!) and the dried fruit. The price is a tad steep considering you are getting a 7 ounce bag, but I kind of think it's worth it because of how much good stuff you are getting. This isn't your average trail mix.

Overall, I really like what Nana Joes has to offer and I'm sure going to look for this granola in stores. You can probably buy some in a store near you too! Check out this list. Also you can purchase online here as well.

I'm also happy to announce that I get to giveaway some granola to one lucky reader! Ends 9/29. US Only.
