Rickaroons are a flourless experience, which I prefer in my gluten-free treats. I also am so loving the macaroon experience of these treats as well and I think it's something you can buy without feeling guilty at all!
I had the chance to try a variety of flavors - Chocolate Blonde, Mint to Be, Mocha and Megaroon. I have to say that of all the flavors I tried, my favorite is a toss up between Mocha and Mint to Be. I love the zing of coffee mixed in with the mocha flavor but I love the spark of mint mixed with the chocolate of Mint to Be. The texture to the "Rickaroons" are a little grainy but I think it matches the unique quality of the cookie.
One thing that makes me really enjoy these cookies are their simple ingredients. Here's what's in the Mint to Be -
Shredded Coconut, Almond Butter, Coconut Palm Nectar, 70% Dark Chocolate (Cacao, Cane Juice, Chocolate Liquer, Cocoa Butter, Tapioca), Cacao, Coconut Oil, Vanilla, Peppermint Extract
Can I just say that I'm REALLY happy to see that there is 70% Dark Chocolate in this? I'm so happy about that. I love all the great ingredients here - that's HUGELY important to me. Rickaroons take great care in their ingredients too and you cann tell when you see which ingredients they choose and what is so healthy about them - read about it here.
Overall, the next time you are in the store, find these Rickaroons and buy them (find out if they are in a store near you http://www.rickaroons.com/map/). I know you won't be disappointed, especially if you are already a fan of macaroons. If you can't find it in a store near you, purchase now by following this link and you can buy them online. Make sure you like them on Facebook and follow them on Twitter.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed puzzles. But back in January, as I was walking to my bus stop, I slipped on a patch of black ice and ended up fracturing my left arm. That hurt SO badly. The days following I ended up getting a package from Hallmark featuring this adorable and colorful 1,000 piece puzzle. I was pretty excited about this but thinking to myself, "How much can I enjoy a puzzle with my arm fractured?"
Well once the pain subsided and I felt better, I started piecing together the puzzle. I put the snow section together, than the hot air balloon, then the edges, and then over the last several weeks things just started coming together. On my own, this took about five weeks which only took me long because I would usually sit for about a half hour at a time.
I now can say I have a renewed love of puzzles! Not only was this a lot of fun it complete distracted me from my arm fracture! How fun is that? If possible, in the near future, if you are putting together a "get well" package for someone, I'd give them a puzzle. It was a fabulous distraction and considering I couldn't use my left arm for a while, it was something FUN I could do with only my right arm.
Best of all, this puzzle runs at a reasonable price of about $20. And you can purchase it AND others on Hallmark's website (or in their stores!).
I am also excited to say that I get to giveaway this same puzzle to one lucky reader! Giveaway ends on 3/13. Us Only.
I received the above puzzle in exchange for my honest review.

So I'm a yogurt person in the morning which I usually will stir in honey and blueberries. I tend to go with my one usual brand, either Oikos or Chobani and I've been reluctant to change my brand because hey, it's what works right?
Well recently I was contacted by Organic Valley to try their Grassmilk Yogurt and I have to tell you I was wondering...hmmm, try new yogurt? Will I like it?
Let me tell you. I'm usually a passive yogurt fan. I'm usually not super excited for yogurt, it's just one of those things. It's healthy for me, and it's an easy fix for the morning.
But this yogurt has made me really REALLY look forward to breakfast in the morning. Honestly just put a cup of this whole milk grassmilk vanilla yogurt in the freezer with blueberries and a bit of honey mixed in and YUMMMMM. I have to tell you I'm actually looking forward to having my yogurt. I even freeze it a bit and it's so tasty. It isn't too sweet either, which is nice, and it's thick and rich. Honestly since I've had the chance to try this courtesy of Organic Valley, I've purchased containers since then and it's replaced my usual brand of yogurt.
I recently fractured my arm and haven't been cooking as much but I really want to try adding some of this to muffin recipes and in the summer, helloooo smoothies!
Again I can't say enough about the taste of this yogurt. It's really thick and rich and it's so tasty. And the best thing is this comes from grass fed cows! Can you imagine? Cows lounging around vast green fields chomping on tasty greens just so they can make us this amazing yogurt. I like thinking about that.
Right now I can tell you that you will probably find this at Whole Foods, but to find out where you can purchase this product (and others!) by Organic Valley in a store near you, follow this link here.
I’m also happy to giveaway an Organic Valley prize pack to one lucky reader! You will get the chance to try out this same kind of yogurt I did and you will get some really cool Organic Valley swag. Just enter via Rafflecopter below. US Only. Ends 3/9.

I had the chance to try some amazing tasting peanut butter called PB Crave! I had the chance to try all four amazing flavors -
Choco Choco Peanut Butter
Coco Bananas Peanut Butter
Razzle Dazzle Peanut Butter
Cookie Nookie Peanut Butter
The flavor blast for these was intense. I have to confess that when my family and I received this delivery we inhaled the Razzle Dazzle immediately! The Razzle Dazzle featured an amazing flavor combination blast of raspberries, white chocolate and peanut butter. This was so tasty and my absolute favorite flavor.
I love making muffins on the weekends and even added a helping of Cookie Nookie Peanut Butter to the mix and it turned out so good!
The different flavors made me feel as if I was treating myself and it was so fun to indulge a bit. I felt even less guilty because its gluten free, with no syrups hydrogenated oils or artificial flavors and so much more. Read more about this tasty peanut butter here.
Overall, I think this it's a tasty peanut butter to have as the occasional treat. I love the taste of plain ol' peanut butter, though, and this did have a bit too much sugar to be a daily treat. But every now and then is a tasty idea!
I am so happy to announce one lucky winner will receive a prize pack of all four peanut butter flavors that I got to try! Enter via Rafflecopter below. US Only. Giveaway ends 2/28.
