The Best Gluten-Free Soup I've Had in a Long Time (And Giveaway]

Image
Since I've been gluten-free it isn't always to figure out easy lunch solutions. I'm not a huge fan of frozen options and I really don't think I've found the perfect, consistently amazing lunch time bread. And soups? Well, I haven't found my favorite soups yet either. Until now. So I had the chance to try out Blount's Soups! I tried two different kinds -  Tomato Bisque Broccoli Cheddar Here's what I thought: The Good: Theses soups are non-gmo, organic, and gluten-free. First, the tomato bisque. I found this tasted so good. I like when Tomato Soup is on the creamy side. And this was! I'm never a fan when tomato soup has more of a ketchupy, liquidy tomato flavor. But when it really tastes like a soup? Oh yum!  For the Broccoli Cheddar, it may not have been as thick and creamy and cheesy as I usually love about Broccoli Cheddar, it was still really tasty. I just needed a bit more salt.  Th

But still that doesn't mean you can't get started on celebrating the upcoming sunshine! Woo! So recently I got the chance to try out the Santa Cruz Organic Lemon Juice. 3 Reasons You Should Consider Shea Butter

Image
I do enjoy finding natural items that I can use for beauty products. Vaseline and coconut oil really work well for my skin and I tend to avoid using products with hefty ingredients lists. Lately I've started to learn a bit more about shea butter which isn't something I've considered in the past! 1) It's incredibly moisturizing. It gets into the deep layers of your skin and stops any kind of moisture loss. It's also nicely absorbed too - not greasy like a lot of other skin care products. 2) Anti-inflammatory Actually there was a study in 2010  by the "Journal of Oleo Science" done recently that says shea butter reduces inflammation! It also has been known to be really healing as well. 3) Anti-aging. Shea butter has a lot of antioxidants that replenish your skin. These vitamins are what fights the impact of aging on your skin. 4) Bonus reason! You can use it on your hair. I've heard of using moisturizing products for your hair but

Divatress - A Fantastic Way to Update Your Look! #Divatress #beauty #ad #spon

Image
This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine. Recently my mom and I talked about how if we had the extra money, it would be fun to wear wigs. I think wigs are an EXCELLENT way of trying out a new hair color, a new hair style, and just updating your look in general without the commitment, the time, and the money. Personally I'm not really inclined to go to the salon and get dye jobs done and I'm definitely not brave enough for a short cut. But I would LOVE to try these things out with a wig. So, I recently learned about Divatress. They offer wigs for anyone's budget! PLUS they have so many beautiful styles. They have synthetic wigs, wigs made with human hair, short wigs, and wigs for women of all ages. I was searching through their site and these wigs jumped out at me as being really fun to wear! If your beauty budget makes you pause about going down the route of wigs, than you will be happy to know that Divatress is very affordable. I'm

Nature's Bakery - A Healthy Treat You Won't Feel Guilty About! [Review + Giveaway]

Image
I'm a sucker for a grab and go treat. Something about the treat in it's quaint wrapper that I can just toss into a lunch bag that is vastly appealing to me. Being that I'm gluten-free, I'm always really cautious of my treat choices too! So, I can't wait to share this amazing treat that Nature's Bakery has to offer. I had the chance to try out a couple of different treats by them. First, their gluten-free fig bars (and then my brother had the luck to try their brownies (which are NOT gluten-free)). Nature's Bakery started in 2010 by father and son team Dave and Richard Marson. I love their philosophy by the way, "Keep it simple, have fun, and achieve balance in life through nature, activity, nutrition, and community." Read more about how their company started here. They offer a variety of gluten-free fig bars - fig, raspberry, pomegranate, and blueberry. I personally loved the blueberry, it was a tasty experience and in general, I l

Gluten-Free Snack Ideas: Protes Chips: Enjoy Gluten-Free Protein Chips

Image
I'm on a snack fixation lately, can you tell? Well I love having chips to snack on yet I don't like that sneaking sense of guilt by having them though. Reduce that guilt though with these amazing chips I just heard about recently called, "Protes" chips! It all started when this guy Krik was sick of the only protein snack option being 'protein bars.' Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to the concept of "protein snacks"! It started in 2009 as an idea than 2013 Protes became a real thing! Read more about how they came to be over here.  So I had the chance to try out a variety of flavors of Protes chips - Tangy Southern BBQ, Spicy Chili Lime, Zesty Nacho, and Toasted Coconut. Of the flavors I tried, I loved Zesty Nacho the best. One thing that's cool is for a small snack pack, it's only 100 calories! One major thing I appreciate about these snacks is also they are guten-free! So these are snacks that I can enjoy! PLUS they are non

The photo was taken by the 49-year-old actor star showing his fiance, Rosie on bent knees on a beach with her hand holding her back, showing off her growing bump. It seems that the soon-to-be-married couple couldn’t contain their excitement for the New Year blessing. This duo has been together since 2010, so it sure is the perfect time to get pregnant . While 2017 gets under way, I feel like a new year represents the opportunity to try new things! If you are looking for some new coffee in your life, coffee drinkers pay attention! I had the chance to try some coffee by Driftaway Coffee. I love a company with a great back story. And this one has a pretty cool starting point! Gluten-Free Snack Ideas: Milton's Gluten-Free Crackers [My Review]

Image
I recently discovered my newest favorite gluten-free cracker. Everyone, that is gluten-free, gather around, you will love it. You know what it is? It's Milton's Gluten-Free Crackers! One thing that makes Milton's stand out to me, aside from offering some great snacks, is that they also do a LOT of good work for the community. They are actively involved in a variety of causes and organizations. Check out who they support and how they can support one of your causes!  So I had the chance to try out a few different crackers flavors - Crispy Sea Salt, Cheddar Cheese, Everything, and Multi-Grain. My two favorite flavors are the sea salt and the cheddar cheese. One of the great things about these crackers is that they are light, but they don't leave you disappointed. It's still a hearty cracker! The sea salt is my favorite by far, it makes great for dipping into salsas and sauces and it's just so good. A light salty flavor! The cheddar is also

Coffee Suggestion: Kohana Coffee & Cold Brew

Image
Coffee always gives me such good feelings. So I am always eager to try out coffee and find some good ones that I can share with you guys. Well, I couldn't wait to tell you about this amazing coffee blend Kohana Coffee. This coffee was inspired by a pretty awesome island adventure. Getting caught up in a terrible storm on the island of Oahu, founder Victoria Lynden had to stop to wait out the storm. She was drawn in by the most amazing scent of coffee and of course, followed her nose to find out the aroma. Well, the rest is history and soon she met the roaster of this coffee John and she set out to make coffee in this island style way. Read about this coffee's awesome history over on their webpage. I had the chance to try out some of this tasty cold brew and their dark roast coffee for myself. In these cold winter days, I love coffee. Well, this coffee immediately reminded me of being on a tropical vacation. It had such a flavorful tropical vibe to it and it almost tast

his post contains an affiliate link and I will receive compensation if you sign up through my link. So I think, nah and I don't. But I really love having computer ink handy. So I want to recommend a program to you guys that will most definitely save you money on computer ink. It's the HP Instant Ink program. First, find out if you have an eligible printer by  visiting this link here.  Once you know you have an eligible printer, select the plan you want.
