What To Do When You Stuck in a Snack Rut [Giveaway Inside!]

Sometimes you can easily get in a rut with food. I know I get that way. The same products are in the store, you have the same lunch ideas, you buy the same snacks, the same everything. I know that it actually can be hard to step outside my comfort zone and try something new.

So that's when subscription boxes can help. It's an excellent way of finding new things to try, getting some extra snacks, and opening up your horizon to new foods. Whether you are celiac or gluten-intolerant or simply eat gluten-free by choice, it's time to broaden those horizons!

I recently had the chance to try out the "American Gluten-Free" food box. Here's the photo of what I received -

1) Jessica's Natural Foods Chocolate Chip Granola

2) Beanits Bean Chips Hint of Line

3) Betty Lou's Strawberry Fruit Bar

4) Health Warrior Chia Bar - Acai Berry

5) Betty Lou's Just Great Stuff Bar - Superberry

6) Brami Beans: Chili Lime

7) Ener-G Original Pretzels

8) Hippea's Organic Chickpea - Vegan White CHeddar

One thing I was so excited to see - Jessica's Natural Foods Chocolate Chip Granola! You actually get a really nice sized bag of granola as well. One thing I love about Jessica's Natural Granola is that it's soft, it's not really crunchy. And it's a really tasty snack.

The Beanitos were also a nice surprise for me too. I've had the chance to review them on this blog before and they are such a great snack chip. They come in so many different flavors and the fact that they are made from beans make them kind of guilt free for me.

The other stand out snack that I enjoyed was the Betty Lou's strawberry fruit bar. That was tasty. A little TOO sweet but I never really mind that problem.

As for the other snacks, I thought they were okay. I was a bit wary of the vegan options, such as the vegan white cheddar puffs and the brami beans. I almost wish in this snack box you could specify whether or not you need dairy free snacks. Although I do know a lot of people with Celiac Disease and who are gluten-interolant that can't have dairy. So I definitely understand the need!

One thing I really like about subscription boxes is that you get so much variety and you are exposed to companies you may not have thought of before. The price is about $24.95. Considering I received 8 items, I think this is a really great price.

If you know anyone who is vegan and gluten-intolerant who could use some new snacks in their life, I would introduce them to this snack box. Purchase now.

They also offer a gluten-free foodie box too which has about 7-9 full sized ingredients and food staples. This is a bit more expensive, about $36.95. But I like the fact that these are full sized, so check it out. Purchase now.

Be sure to follow them on Facebook , Twitter, and Instagram .

I am also excited to announce that I get to giveaway a snack box to one lucky reader! Enter via Rafflecopter below. US Only. Ends 5/27.
