20 Recipes Made with Honey Perfect for the Summer [And Giveaway!]

Sometimes it's hard to describe why a particular brand is your favorite. But this one is and I can't wait to tell you why. I am so glad they wanted to work with my blog too!

So, L.R. Rice was started in Colorado back in 1924. It's a women-owned, family operated and in it's 5th generation. Talk about having roots! The family started out working in bee yards, extracting honey and filling glass jars and selling door to door in the Colorado area. They have established relationships with beekeepers across the United States which allows for quality honey to be distrbuted across the country.

One thing that really makes me like this honey is that it is raw and unfiltered. It's the best way to have honey too. Want to learn more about honey? Check out their FAQ page!

They also offer a wide variety of honey such as wild flower honey and local honey from a variety of areas. Want honey from the Northwest, check out this kind. It is reasonably priced, I thought, it comes at $6.50 online. Roughly that price in the store too.

Honey for me lasts long as well because it is not something I use on everything but I love it so much when I do. This is one of the few brands of honey that I buy regularly so I would highly, HIGHLY recommend it.

One thing is for sure is that whenever a recipe calls for sugar, honey is my go to. However, I tend not to think outside the box too much. So I've collected some really incredible and unique recipes that you need to check out and add to your meal planning!

Kimber Daley from the blog,  "Let's Do Some Good Today"  recommends making fruit salsa with honey! "We love fruit salsa (fruit pulsed in the food processor a few times) and I sometimes drizzle honey over it. We serve it with cinnamon chips (tortillas, cut into wedges, with a bit of butter brushed on top, sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar, baked until crispy)."
