Dial Sugar Scrub Liquid Soap - Hand Washing Never Felt So Good [My Review]

Image
I've partnered up with Purex again to tell you about this great new soap I had the chance to try.  It's called  "Dial Sugar Cane Husk Scrub" Hand Soap. I prefer liquid hand soap for washing my hands because I don't like using bar soap I've specifically purchased for my face on my hands. Does that make sense? Washing my hands with bar soap I bought for my face feels a bit wasteful. So I love finding a liquid hand soap that I can keep in the bathroom (and kitchen, especially!) for my hand washing needs.  What I love about this hand soap is that it smells SO good. It has such a light sweet smell. Nothing like a sweet smell to inspire me to wash my hands. Not to mention it has little scrubbies (sorry I don't know the most mature way of describing them) that scrub over your hand. They soften your skin and leave your skin feeling so smooth. Most of the time, hand soap dries my skin and this doesn't. I loved that part! After using it, I just love putti

Gluten Free Lunch Idea: Evol's Tasty Gluten-Free Meals [Review]

I only recently, within the last couple of years or so, discovered Evol food products. And thanks to my mom, I discovered within the last couple of weeks that evol spells "LOVE" backwards. How about that? So I really couldn't wait to try out Evol and share my opinion with you guys about the whole experience! First of all, you must check out their mission statement. Something there spoke to me, because they said, "When did frozen food stop having food as an ingredient?" Half the reason I have become against frozen foods (aside from the fact that I've gone gluten free and many frozen foods have gluten in them) is that the ingredients in these meals don't even look tasty, appealing or like edible food products. You can see by their food philosophy that they also have an unacceptable ingredients list and it's for this reason I really love their products. Check out what you WON'T be finding in your Evol foods . Not all of their products are glu

Gift Idea: Zoku Quick Pop Maker - Make A Sweet Frozen Summer Treat!

Image
The summer time is probably one of my least favorite times of year. While everyone cheers it, I react more like a vampire who recoils in horror over a ray of sun hitting it. But since I have no choice and summer is practically just around the corner, why not have more fun with it? I had the chance to try out these Zoku Quick Pop Maker and I can't wait to share my experience with you. About Zoku I love their company's story. I also love that they have a test kitchen! Can I visit soon?? Anyways, it started out with them wondering how they could make popsicles faster? Well Zoku Quick Pop Maker was born! And in case you were wondering, Zoku is family in Japanese. This product as well as so many of their other products are perfect family activities. Read more about their company's story here.  About the Quick Pop Maker I had a huge trial and error experience my first time around making popsicles. I made coffee pops. I felt inspired after I made a pot of coffee t

Gift Ideas: Guardians of the Galaxy, Frozen and other Disney Albums [My Review]

Image
I received the Hop To The Music pack as a member of the Entertainment New Media Network. No further compensation was received and all opinions are my own. This post may also contain affiliate links. Easter is JUST around the corner. Can you believe that? I am such a closet Disney fan so when I had the chance to review some music soundtracks, I jumped at the chance. Anyways, these Hop to the Music titles would make PERFECT Easter Basket surprises and I highly recommend these albums from the Disney Music Group . Awesome Music Mix - Guardians of the Galaxy I am shocked that this kind of Disney CD exists! These are songs I know! This so much fun to listen to - I listened to it at work actually - and it put me in the best mood. This is perfect for a teen's Easter basket, especially one who can appreciate the classics. Or maybe an Easter surprise for you! Pina Colada song anyone? And can I just say how amazingly thrilled I am to see Disney selling this as a cassette tape? Chec

Gift Ideas: Keomi Skincare - Gentle, All Natural Soaps

Image
I had the chance to try out the most amazing soap. I'm sort of the cheap soap purchasing type, so I was really really excited to try this out. The one thing that jumped out at me immediately was how natural the ingredients were to each soap I had the chance to try. The Keomi Skincare soap comes in a variety of kinds, and you can purchase it right now on Amazon . They offer gift sets and these would make PERFECT gift sets for Mother's Day. I had the chance to try out four types: Luscious Lavender, Green Tea Goddess, Golden Crown, and Sea Breeze. Luscious Lavender I would say this was one of the best smelling soaps of the bunch. It smelled like a wonderful lavender garden and it made bath time so relaxing to me. One of the things that I love about this soap were the ingredients. You won't find any unnatural items in these soaps. These were all natural and my skin appreciated that. Green Tea Goddess I loved this on my skin the best! It didn't have

Gluten Free Treat Ideas: Emmy's Organics Macaroons

Image
I have to say the cookies I'm about to share with you didn't last an HOUR at home. We tore into them like there was no tomorrow. So I can't wait to tell you about them! Emmy's Organics started out in 2008 when Samantha and Ian met at a musical festival. Later when Ian tried out a cookie recipe at his mom's kitchen (aka Emmy), Samantha thought these would look great in a little package and soon Emmy's was born. Emmy's Organics started in a small (certified) kitchen and soon running the business from a basement was no longer big enough for them to handle all the business coming in! Read more about their amazing and inspiring story on their website! I tried out a few different flavors of macaroons - Dark Cacao, Lemon Ginger and Coconut Vanilla. Out of all the flavors I tried, my personal favorite is Lemon Ginger. I personally love lemon (in general) but in the context of a sweet treat it's even better. It's SO good and you can actually taste the

Quiet Packing Tape by Shoplet

Image
Okay, I must confess I'm super noise sensitive. Usually crackly, or crunching noises bother me the most and if I am ever packing up a box I absolutely HATE that scratching tape noise - it's horrid!! So when I had the chance to try out this amazing new packing tape that you can purchase at Shoplet.com. So you have to know that I couldn't wait to tell you about this amazing new packing tape that...DOESN'T MAKE A SOUND. It's so quiet. I used it and it really doesn't make a noise at all. The tape is as good as any other packing tape so you aren't losing the good tape quality of noisy tape. This quiet tape does the trick. I also had the chance to try out Gecko Tech reusable hooks, one that can hold up to three pounds and another that can hold up to five pounds . Also, I had the chance to check out some door hangers. I stuck these to the back of a bedroom door and I've been casually using them ever since. These last nicely. You can't han

Gluten-Free Lunch Ideas: Udi's Gluten-Free Bagels [My Review]

Image
If you haven't seen Udi's in the store, you haven't been looking. They have stuff EVERYWHERE these days and I'm so happy because they really have good food. Udi's sent me a variety of stuff to review and I can't wait to talk about what I had to try! Udi's made their first loaf of gluten-free bread in 2008 and since then they have grown to be one of the most well-known gluten-free brands around. Make sure you check out their timeline of success to see how far they've come! I had the chance to try out a few of their items - their Pizza Crusts, Everything Inside Bagels, and Plain Tortillas. So far, of everything I tried from them, I really really LOVED the bagels. I've actually gone on a hunt to find them and no store in my area has these kind! I'm so disappointed! I have purchased other Udi's bagels recently and I really think the Everything Bagel's have a lot more to them than the plain bagels and are more filling. One thing I

Review of Madonna's Album Rebel Heart

I had the amazing chance to review Madonna's newest album Rebel Heart. I've been a Madonna fan for such a long time (I even have some of her tapes - TAPES - remember those??) and I am so excited to see she is still making music. After listening to this album, I can tell you she still has it! Madonna's new album Rebel Heart is her 13th studio album (just released on March 10th).  “Rebel Heart explores two very distinct sides of my personality, the rebellious renegade side of me and the romantic side of me” commented Madonna recently in Billboard.  She collaborates with Nicki Minaj, Naz, Kanye West, and Mike Tyson. I listened to each song and did a little feedback on every song you can hear on the album. Living For Love Her voice sounds great and it reminds me of why I like Madonna in the first place! It's very much a dance soundtrack and I can imagine myself moving to this and rocking out on the treadmill. And best of all, there is a music video out for this son

Quick Gluten-Free Breakfast Idea: Glutenfreeda - A Little Bit of Oatmeal (And Granola) to Start Your Day!

Image
I want to say first that I've heard from a lot of people that some people with celiac can't eat oats. I don't have Celiac, I'm gluten intolerant and so far I don't experience problems with eating oats, as long as the oats are certified gluten-free. So do keep that in mind and do some research on your own before deciding whether it's good for your diet or health! But I had the chance to try Glutenfreeda Gluten Free Oatmeal along with the Granola and I'm SO impressed. First of all, I'm usually not a huge fan of instant oatmeal because I find there is so much bad stuff in the ingredients list. But when I looked over the ingredients for the Glutenfreeda Oatmeal, I didn't see anything that I didn't trust putting into my body. I'm the only oatmeal fan in my family so I was very happy to try all of these flavors! To give you an example of the ingredients you can expect in their oatmeal, here's the ingredients in the Apple Cinnamon wi

Gluten-Free Snack Ideas: Gluten Free Glutino Products [My Review]

Image
I worried when I went gluten-free that I would have to say no to snacks. I mean, sure, snacky things probably aren't the most WHOLESOME thing to have in your diet, but occasional snacks aren't terrible, right? At least, I don't think so! So I had the chance to try a bunch of gluten-free Glutino snacks and YUM. I'm in snack-love! I also was reading over their website and I love their "about us" section where they talk about being gluten-free and what it means to them. They say, "For many of us, living gluten free means living agony-free.  For others, living gluten free allows us to perform at the top of our game.  And for an ever increasing number of us, living gluten free just plain feels good." Read more about their company by visiting their website. As you can see, I had the chance to try a few Glutino snacks. I tried Honey Mustard Pretzels, Pretzel Chips, Hazelnut Waffle Bites, and Parmesan and Garlic Bagel Chips. One word - YUM. For th

Gift Idea: Coco Luxe Organic - Coconut Oil On the Go! [My Review]

Image
I'm a huge fan of coconut oil.  I use it every morning and night on my face and it's the best thing for my skin. I've seen so much improvement in dryness and my skin just GLOWS now. Am I gushing? I think I'm gushing. The thing is though I usually buy a huge container of coconut oil and then pour some into a smaller plastic container so I can distribute it pretty easily throughout the next couple of months or so. But then it ends up looking something like this: Gross, huh? Well, turns out there is a brand new AMAZING thing that I discovered and had the the chance to try out. It puts my gross container to shame! It's called Coco Luxe Organic and they sell Coconut Oil in a tube so you can take it with you on the go. I don't know about you but it's nice to have this refresher with me so my skin doesn't dry out and I don't have to pull out a nasty looking container that I had before. Here's what to expect out of the Coco Luxe Organ
