Gluten-Free Lunch Ideas: Udi's Gluten-Free Bagels [My Review]

If you haven't seen Udi's in the store, you haven't been looking. They have stuff EVERYWHERE these days and I'm so happy because they really have good food. Udi's sent me a variety of stuff to review and I can't wait to talk about what I had to try!

Udi's made their first loaf of gluten-free bread in 2008 and since then they have grown to be one of the most well-known gluten-free brands around. Make sure you check out their timeline of success to see how far they've come!

I had the chance to try out a few of their items - their Pizza Crusts, Everything Inside Bagels, and Plain Tortillas. So far, of everything I tried from them, I really really LOVED the bagels. I've actually gone on a hunt to find them and no store in my area has these kind! I'm so disappointed!

I have purchased other Udi's bagels recently and I really think the Everything Bagel's have a lot more to them than the plain bagels and are more filling. One thing I love about having bagels back in my diet is that there are so many ways to have them with lunch! Here's a few ideas -

1) Bagel with Peanut Butter, Honey and Cinnamon.
2) Bagel put into the toaster oven melted with swiss cheese. Spread some avocado first over the bread and melt the cheese on top of that for an extra special treat.
3) Bagel with pepperoni slices and some mozzarella slices, melted in the toaster oven or microwave.
4) Bagel with jalapeno cream cheese, and tamed jalapeno slices on top.
5) Bagel with sliced turkey, cheddar, and mayonnaise (I recommend trying Sriracha Mayo!)

Also, I did try their plain tortillas, and I thought they were pretty good. I had them with cheese melted on top and overall they were good. They might not be my preferred kind but I'm glad I had the chance to try them. They cooked really well too, which I appreciated.

Also, the pizza crusts were pretty good too! I have my own favorite but these are a good option. They were a little on the thin side, but that's okay. I know a lot of you out there prefer thin crust!

Overall, I really hope to see the Udi's Everything Bagels in stores. Plus they have so much variety that I can't wait to see what new things they have in store for all of us soon!
