My Gluten-Free Experience With Enjoy Life Foods Baking Mixes

I had the chance to try out some awesome tasting Enjoy Life Food baking mixes. I've tried four different mixes - the Muffin Mix, Pancake Mix, Brownie Mix, and Pizza Mix. I've tried three of those four mixes and I can't wait to tell you about how I felt about each one.

I will tell you that I really enjoyed the taste of these mixes so far and I LOVE that there is this kind of option for gluten-free people. But that's not all! They're products are free from the eight most common allergies including gluten, peanuts, soy, wheat, dairy, fish, and shellfish. Read more on their website! 

 

The first batch I tried out was their Brownie Mix! See my blurry photo up there? I was so excited that I could barely contain myself long enough to take the photograph right. Here's the thing though. I had wanted to try this out but it was an EXTREMELY hot day. So I put the mix together and yes I totally licked the batter spoon and it was AMAZING.  And here's the thing about it though. I put the batter into a glass baking dish and actually attempted microwaving it. I THOUGHT I could get away with it and it was a terrible disaster. So I want to actually go out and purchase this mix from the store and try it the right way!



Onto the next batch though - the muffins! I did try these out and baked them in the oven and they were pretty good. They were really simple too. I do think these need some extras, like maybe honey or chocolate chips or blueberries or something to really taste as good as they can. But it's a great place to start, I think there is so much potential. As for me, I added honey which made them taste amazing! 



As for the pancakes, well I turned them into pancake muffins, which is basically just putting the pancake batter into the oven and cooking at 350 degrees for maybe 20 minutes or so? These turned out amazing too.

Overall, I really like these Enjoy Life mixes. They taste great and it's a wonderful solution. I haven't tried the pizza mix yet, but I plan to sometime soon! I highly recommend checking these out at the store. You will be so happy you did!

My Review of Nutty Novelties Nut Butters

  Does anyone else love nut butter as much as I do? It's such a healthy protein and great for breakfast or lunch, depending on how you like to enjoy yours.  Recently, I had the chance to try some by a brand called Nutty Novelties. I ended up choosing their simple blends, like Classic Peanut Butter, Pistachio Butter, Almond Butter, and Cashew Butter. I loved each jar and thought it was just simply delicious. However, they offer a ton of unique varieties that you don't want to miss out on. They have Honey Roasted Peanut Butter , Cinnamon Almond Butter , and  Dark Chocolate Almond Butter .
