Why You Should Purchase Your Christmas Tree Online

This is the second year in a row that I've received my Christmas tree courtesy of the Internet and I am so happy about the experience. I remember before I tried getting my tree this way I imagined that the only kinds of trees you could get online were fake ones. But you know that isn't true? You can actually get freshly cut Christmas tree from small tree farms that get shipped to you.

So why purchase a Christmas tree online when the lot is just down the street? Well, let me tell you. There are some very good reasons to do it this way that I've proposed and some you may not have thought of before. Here's a few things to think about -

1) You don't own a car.

This is my number one reason for why I've gone route of ordering Christmas trees online. I don't own a car and there's something very un-holiday spirit feeling of lugging up a 6 foot Christmas tree down the street and to my home in the cold and rain. So if you are in this situation and don't want the lack of a car to stop you from having a holiday spirit, you may want to consider purchase yours online.

2) You are spending your Christmas elsewhere.

While chatting with the nice people at Weir Tree Farms, Christie Weir, one of the co-owners told me that one family will be celebrating their holiday season in Disneyland (yes, I'm jealous too) and wanted a Christmas tree there to celebrate with. Aside from the extremely awesome choice to spend Christmas in Disneyland, I think it's a charming idea that the family can still have a traditional celebration with the Christmas tree in the hotel room or place you are staying. I'm sure it's necessary to check with whatever hotel you will be staying at but it's something I would look into if I was in those pretty awesome circumstances.

3) You want to be sure of quality.

If you check out the customer testimonials on the Weir Tree Farms website, you will find a lot of happy customers. Plenty of people boasting about how wonderful their tree is! It's been a while since I've gone to the local Christmas tree lots, but sometimes it's nice to be sure you are getting the best quality tree. By purchasing your tree online, you can find out what you need to know about the farm you are purchasing from, the type of tree your buying, and other kinds of information. I like knowing things like that.

4) Delivers right to your door.

Whether or not you have a car, sometimes you just want the door to door service. I think that this is a huge perk for Christmas tree delivery. Tying the tree to the roof of your car can be a hassle and lugging it home is never a fun task. So if even if you do have a car, sometimes it's just nice to not have to worry about visiting the tree farm.

So overall, I highly recommend you start this holiday season out by purchasing your tree online, especially if any of the above reasons strike a chord with you. I highly recommend purchasing with the Weir Tree Farms especially. Visit their website and purchase today.

I received a tree in exchange for my review of their tree. A review post will be up later. I have posted these reasons all on my own.
