Gluten-Free Treat Ideas: Eat. Dream. Be. - Healthy Snack Bars [My Review]

Image
It's that time of year where we're all contemplating the holiday treats and sweets we finished off recently and getting ourselves back on track. Well, if you are in need of a treat that will leave you guilt-free, than I have something for you. It's called, "Eat. Dream. Be." and these bars are healthy, filling, and will likely satisfy that sweet treat you desire. These treats were created by two friends who met and wanted to collaborate further. And Eat. Dream. Be as you can see by their website is far more than just food related amazingness. They offer up music and podcasts too.  The thing that's first great about the dream bar is that it's certified gluten-free and that's something I'm very strict about focusing on because of my intolerance to gluten. They have three different kinds - Banana Lavendar, Apple Chamomile and Tart Cherry Lemon Balm. They don't offer up a sharp sweet flavor and at this point in the year that's a

Chocolate is one of those things that is actually good for you, But let's be real though, some chocolates have more of a "wow" factor than others. Am I right? So I had the chance to try some healthy rich chocolate made by a company called, "Hnina Gourmet." They have a mission to provide delicious and HEALTHY chocolate to all of us chocolate fans. Founded by Vanessa Morgenstern-Kenan, she decided to create chocolate of her own just because she couldn't find any quite good enough for her and her family. I think that's pretty awesome! Check out her story here. I got to try out some amazing truffles and chocolate bars by Hnina Gourmet. Their truffles are so incredibly rich and they actually aren't too sweet. They are truly a healthy chocolate experience so you will actually feel REALLY good about yourself after enjoying this chocolate.  I ended up wanting to try out this chocolate in baking and I bake muffins on the weeken

Gluten-Free Food Suggestion: Beehive Cheddar - Tasty, Flavorful Cheeses to Enjoy

Image
I'm such a cheese fanatic and some days I can't resist but over eat cheese. Anyone else like that? Well, I love gourmet cheeses. Some kinds you just want to be able to sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy a slice of some tasty cheddar. I have found that gourmet experience with Beehive Cheese. You know how I discovered this cheese? Through the Avery Aames Cheese Shop Mystery books! It's a fun series by the way, perfect for the cheese lover, because the cheeses mentioned in the book are REAL. So I had to see what this was like and I was so happy the company was willing to send me some samples to try.  (P.S. This is the series by the way! Check it out. The Beehive Cheese Company was started by brothers-in-law Tim Welsh and Pat Ford who left their software jobs to start this cheese company. Any other fellow cubical workers envying this like I am? They brought back the local creamery to northern Utah and their business is family owned and operated. Check out more of

It's called Fran's Chocolates. Oh my, you guys. Oh my. These chocolates, originally crafted by master chocolatier Fran Bigelow were created with an artists technique when considering the flavor which is an intense sensory experience. I love reading the history of this chocolate creator and so go on and check out the story of how she came to be so good at what she does - Read Fran's Story. I had the chance to try out some of Fran's Chocolates bars! And you know what? They. Were. Amazing. The first kind I tried reminded me a bit of a superior version of an Almond Joy. It's called their Coconut Gold Bars. They are made with coconut, almonds and covered in chocolate. It's so flavorful and rich tasting! Their coconut is blended with white chocolate to make it
