My Hair Care Goals for 2018

Happy New Year everyone!

Alright, so the new year is upon us and I'd like to make a few hair care goals for 2018. I love my hair, I love it's color (never have dyed it) and I love how long it is and how fast it grows (sometimes I like this characteristic, sometimes I'm annoyed by it). Overall though I know I can do a better job of taking care of my hair. So here's a few hair care goals for 2018.

1) Use the right shampoo.

Anyone else tend to grab what's there in your cabinet or in the store? I tend to not pay too close attention to shampoo but I'd like to start choosing the right kind. Recently I tried out a shampoo by Maple Holistics and it's called, "Argan Oil Shampoo." This shampoo can do wonderful things for you hair including treat split ends, soften your hair and moisturizes your hair. What I love is that it doesn't weigh my hair down and I love rubbing into my scalp and then putting conditioner on the ends and just letting my hair just be for a while. I love this shampoo and Maple Holistics is a great brand to purchase. So my 2018 goal is to not only choose the right shampoo for my hair but choose the right kind of brand.  Make sure you purchase your bottle of Argan Oil Shampoo for $9.99 on the Maple Holistics website.

2) Get my hair cut (at least every six months).

I've let my hair grow long. Like really long. Near the middle of my back. It's simply because of a tough time and taking care of my hair isn't always top of the list. So this year my personal goal for my hair is to get my hair cut first and then cut it at least every eight to twelve weeks. According to Allure's article on this whole subject, getting your hair cut depends on your hair and how you take care of it. I'm sure I need to do this so much more often. Read more up on this here.

3) Style my hair better.

Whether it's through youtube styling videos or simple fashion magazine hunting, I want to learn to style my hair better. First, I must conquer number two. But I tend to put my hair up in a tragic messy bun or pony tail that I barely pay attention to and then feel bad about it later. So, I'd like to at least try.

Do you have any hair care goals for 2018? I'd love to hear them! I also love the Maple Holistics products so be sure you take a look at what they have to offer. Purchase now.

I received the above photographed shampoo in exchange for my honest review.
