5 Reasons I Still Use Instacart (And You Should Too!)

Image
**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links. As you can see from my post last October about Instacart , I'm a huge fan of the grocery delivery service! And almost one year later, I'm still a huge fan. If you are on the fence about Instacart, I have for you five reasons I use the service over and above most other delivery services, such as Amazon Prime Now. 1) Chatting with my shopper. One of the biggest reasons I use this service is I can chat with my shopper WHILE they shop. This is huge and one of the biggest reasons I am staying with Instacart. Why is this a big deal? Well here's three reasons why I love this feature - 1) If I forget to add something to my order, I can message the shopper while they are shopping to get it for me. 2) If they can't find an item on my list, and I'm not a fan of the replacement item they find, I can message them asking about other options. 3) I

My New Favorite Thing - Cauliflower Pizza Crusts (and the Brand You Should Try)

Image
This is my affiliate link so will receive small compensation if you purchase through my link. I think the hardest thing for me since going gluten-free is finding the right kind of pizza crust. So many include things like "guar gum" or "xanthum gum" and I'm actively trying to exclude those things from my diet. And then one day, I just decided to Google "Cauliflower Pizza Crusts" and lookie what I found: Don't these look amazing? Okay, so one huge jump out factor for these is that they include some pretty simple ingredients. For the Original Italian, they have cauliflower, mozzarella, eggs, basil, and garlic. How simple can you get? This is the first time a pizza crust has kept it simple and I'm so happy about this. https://www.califlourfoods.com/pages/nutrition-facts So here's my experience attempting to make it into a pizza. I tried this in the oven but I found this worked best for me, when I cooked it on the st

Aroma Brew - A New Way to Make Coffee

Image
I always appreciate a new way of making coffee. I usually use a drip coffee maker, but I recently had the chance to  try out a coffee maker that was considered to be more of an 'aroma brew.' The first thing I noticed about this coffee maker was how incredibly lightweight it was. I thought it was made of glass but in actuality it was made of "borosilicate glass" which can withstand change in temperatures better making it not so breakable. I tried this out for the first time one weekend and filled the coffee filter inside with ground coffee and then poured in hot water. I let it sit and then a few minutes later was able to enjoy some coffee. I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee and how it turned out. Really flavorful and reminded me a bit of how I would make coffee during camping. I actually think this is a fantastic coffee maker if you love to camp and do outdoor activities. Maybe the minor downside is that it is only for one cup at a time, so you have to

Lugz Shoes for Men [Review and Giveaway]

Image
My older brother got shoes that lasted him a season but weren't very durable. I couldn't wait for him to try out shoes by Lugz, because I found the women's pair of shoes were so comfortable and I find them incredibly durable. First looking at the box the shoes came in, that Lugz brand logo in bold orange sure jumps out at you. Taking a look at the shoe itself, it was a soft gray and the exterior of the shoe was soft. However, you can tell just by looking at the sole itself how sturdy this shoe is. My brother walks a lot and having a good shoe is really important. You never really how important a shoe is until you no longer are getting the support you need as you walk! So, I talked to my brother about what he thought about the shoe and he really liked them. He thought they had great sole support and were very sturdy shoes that provides you with a lot of comfort when walking. The only small problem that I've witnessed with these shoes is that it sure picks up r

Twinings Herbal Tea: Perfect Tea for Making Iced Tea

Image
I am such a huge fan of tea. Whether it's hot or cold, black or green, loose leaf or in tea bags, I really enjoy tea. While tea will never take the place of coffee in my heart (at least for the morning), this summer iced tea has made such a huge difference in helping me get relief from the heat. So, I couldn't wait to try out the new flavors of Twinings herbal tea. Upon seeing the three different tea blends, I absolutely couldn't wait to give them a try. There were three different kinds - Lemon Delight, Berry Fusion, and Buttermint. I opened up the package and smelled each different kinds and each lived up to their flavor names. Lemon Delight smelled lemony, of course. Berry Fusion smelled like berries. Buttermint smelled like spiced mint. I love hot tea at night, although sometimes if I chose a tea with caffeine it can keep me awake. I do enjoy herbal teas for that reason, so I was really glad to try this tea out. The thing is that it's so hot lately I can't

So, I couldn't wait to try out products made by Third Day Naturals. They use all natural ingredients, doesn't contain any parabens or GMOs, and smells wonderful. I tried a few products by them. I love the scent of vanilla and couldn't wait to try these different products. Lavender Body Butter (Purchase here ) and Vanilla Body Butter (Purchase here ) I really loved these. First, they smelled wonderful. It took me a bit to get used to getting the body butter out of there because the product was a bit firm unlike usual lotions I may use. However, a little definitely goes a long way. The scent was gentle and not overpowering and great for dry ski
