I Don't Regret Cutting Cable (And Why You Should Cancel Yours)

Over a year ago, I canceled my cable subscription services. Before I canceled, I worried that I would miss out on various stations that I loved watching (like Lifetime or AMC). This kept me in a vicious cycle of paying too much for cable while also battling pricing adjustments made by my cable company. Until finally, I decided to cut the cord.

To this day, over one year later, I don't regret canceling cable. First, there are a wide variety of ways to still watch television with options available through streaming devices. For example, things like Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player allows you to watch TV shows, movies, Live TV, and so much more. In fact, it's even voice activated! It also easily connects to HDTVs which is really nice. It connects from your phone to the TV, it's an incredibly seamless process. I do have a couple of different subscriptions through streaming services such as Amazon Prime and Hulu. I recommend both of those actually because an Amazon Prime subscription gives you so much (including prime now delivery in some areas and Amazon allows you to subscribe to channel specific networks through their website, such as CBS All Access). With Hulu, I love it because I can watch new TV shows the very next day (I love the show 911!) (sign up with my referral link!). Also, there are plenty of free ways to watch TV as well as movies.

Another reason I don't regret canceling cable is that I'm no longer under the burden of a contract. I lost my job a month ago and as I cut back on expenses, it's nice to not have to worry about a huge cable bill and I wouldn't want to be stuck in a contract right now.

If you've been on the fence of canceling your cable, I recommend you do it. It will save you money and there are still ways to watch TV.

You have so many options these days and you are no longer limited when you cancel cable. In fact, it gives you that much more options at a more manageable price.

My Review of Nutty Novelties Nut Butters

  Does anyone else love nut butter as much as I do? It's such a healthy protein and great for breakfast or lunch, depending on how you like to enjoy yours.  Recently, I had the chance to try some by a brand called Nutty Novelties. I ended up choosing their simple blends, like Classic Peanut Butter, Pistachio Butter, Almond Butter, and Cashew Butter. I loved each jar and thought it was just simply delicious. However, they offer a ton of unique varieties that you don't want to miss out on. They have Honey Roasted Peanut Butter , Cinnamon Almond Butter , and  Dark Chocolate Almond Butter .
